Ice cream, You Scream
Would you buy Ice Cream from these guys?
(thanks to pgapix.com for the proofs)
Of all the family members selling ice cream and frozen lemonade at the Senior PGA Championship that day, Steve and I were by far the top salesmen. With limited resources and no umbrella, we secured our sign to the front of our carts and began dispensing frozen treats and good cheer to all who came near - except for the impatient, SUV-driving conservative whom Steve just couldn't serve fast enough.
It was a great day that started with Steve and I enjoying 2 or 3 cups of coffee at Jimmy's egg and visiting with several member of VCC who were also dining there, before we even saw the whites of Dad and Jeff's eyes. After a delicious breakfast, we slipped on our OGE Volunteers shirts and headed to the golf course. We parked our car in field and before we even stepped onto the shuttle bus, Steve ran into someone he knew from school. This trend seemed to continue all day as a steady stream of familiar faces stopped by to visit. Steve and I had the ideal spot for sales near the entrance of the golf course while Dad and Jeff consumed more product than they sold as there cart was tucked behind a grove of trees off the beaten path.

You must get a print of your great
picture. What a keeper! I have heard Dad's version all about that fun, crazy day. Love to see my kids interacting!
